WEDDING VIDEOS - questions and answers
Please read through these questions and answers. If you have questions that are not clear after reading the following items, please feel free to call me.

HOW MANY CAMERAS WILL YOU BE USING?
Anna and I work as a complementary team. Most of the the time we work together capturing footage from different perspectives, other times we will separate in order to get interviews etc. It all depends on how your day flows.

WHO OWNS THE FINISHED FOOTAGE?
Your wedding video is yours. Unlike many videographers, I don’t think it’s right to hold the full copyrights to your video . If you want to share your video around, you can. Either order more of the same beautifully presented copies from me, or do the copying yourself. It’s up to you.

HOW DO YOU EDIT THE VIDEO?
My dynamic editing style is what will set your wedding memory apart. For every wedding package I spend at least 20 hours in post production. I pour over every second of your footage to find the best moments, enhance their colour and sound quality as much as possible, and bring them all together using powerful editing software so that you, friends and family can sit back and be wowed by your big day.

- FULL LENGTH
I shoot and edit the most important moments (as chosen by you) with a journalistic style wherever possible rather than recording everything. This means your entire day will be condensed into an approximately one to two hour long video which is far more engaging to watch.

- WEDDING TRAILER
Your wedding trailer is just like a movie trailer. It is the best moments that summarise your day in a short concise clip. I get really creative and synchronise your video to your music to paint a picture, a feeling, an atmosphere. Each wedding is different. Your Wedding Trailer is uniquely handcrafted just for you. The length depends on package you choose.

- INTERNET COPY
A small copy of your wedding trailer for sharing with friends and family over the internet. 

- ONLINE VIEWING
Thanks to the NEW Film Room, we can host your video on our website so your friends and family can check out your video from anywhere in the world

HOW LONG CAN WE EXPECT TO WAIT FOR OUR FINISHED VIDEO?
You can expect for your completed DVD/CD proof to be in your letterbox in FOUR WEEKS of your wedding day.

WHAT MUSIC DO YOU USE?
You can choose your own favourite music for the highlight reel and the DVD menus. We will sort out the copyright stuff with the record label for you.

DO YOU PRODUCE BLU RAY DISCS?
YES. If you want the crispest video possible, Blu Ray is the answer. Our packages page outlines which options come with FREE Blu Ray discs. You will need a Blu Ray player and a High Definition TV to play a Blu Ray disc. To find out more about this High Definition format, click here.

HOW MUCH ARE EXTRA COPIES?
For every package you get three full copies of your finished DVD/CD package, each presented in a personalised jewel case. I can make extra CD/DVD copies for $50 (inc. GST) each plus postage & handling. It’s much cheaper if you order a bunch at once so feel free to talk to us about a bulk order.

CAN WE MAKE CHANGES TO THE FINAL VIDEO?
I am more than happy to correct the final video if mistakes were made on my part, such as misspellings at no extra cost. If you would like to make any other changes to the final video, I can do this at the rate of $85.00 (inc. GST) per hour with a minimum of 3 hours charged.

WHAT ARE YOUR OVERTIME RATES?
Extra time is billed at $250 (per hour at the event) but we always endeavour to complete projects on budget. Please talk to us ahead of time if you would like to add a few hours onto your package.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE VIDEO FILES FROM MY EVENT?
I will keep a master copy of your finished package on hand for two years after your wedding date if you would like any copies. I also keep some video for the purposes of promotions, advertising, etc.

CAN YOU FILM EVERYONE?
We try not to miss any moments between the bride and groom so unfortunately it is impossible to guarantee that everyone will be filmed. However If you want to make sure that a specific family member, or segment of your ceremony is filmed, please be sure to let me know during your consultation.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
To make sure your date is safely secured we require a $450 (Inc. GST) deposit. I like to begin post production right after your wedding day, so the remaining balance is due no later than 1 week prior to your big day.

DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR TRAVEL?
We can usually travel to your location at no extra charge if your in the Bay of Plenty. If your a bit further away, have a talk to us and we can give you a quote.
